Wine Dogs New Zealand
First published in 2006 by Giant Dog - now out of print
Wine Dogs New Zealand is a photographic journal of Kevin Judd's stunning pictures and great stories created all for the love of dogs and wine. Anyone who visits wineries can't help but notice the omnipresent dog as much a part of the scenery as the winemaker and cellar hand. Wine Dogs New Zealand features over 100 wineries and over 150 stunning photos of their loyal pooches. Along the way, the mutts and purebreds are interspersed with short essays by Bob Campbell, Sam Neill, John Saker and many more. Find out which dog can lip-read, who has a wet grass phobia and discover who quietly leaves the tasting room after dropping gas bombs!
Kevin was invited to shoot all of the Kiwi pooches for the very first edition of Wine Dogs New Zealand, but subsequent Kiwi and other international editions are the photography of Craig McGill - visit the Wine Dogs website to check out his work.
